Looks like no activity on this thread - are you giving any consideration to a WPF version of this control, or do you have any experience using the existing control wrapped for use in a WPF LOB app ?

Hello, we don't have any experience of using AQB in a WPF LOB app, but we successfully tested it in usual WPF applications in a WindowsForms Host Control. The sample of such usage is included in the trial installation package.

We are moving to the implementation of the WPF version. For now we have to split the visual and non-visual parts of WinForms control. Then we'll start to build a new WPF UI. Hopefully this version will be available next year.

We don't have strict dates for release of the WPF version. The component will be released when it's done. First we have to split the visual and non-visual parts of WinForms control. Then we'll start to build a new WPF UI. Hopefully this job will be finished till the end of next year.

Sorry for keep you waiting for so long, but we are very small company, so we must carefully choose the goals and objectives for development. Building the WPF version require lot of resources, so we need to be sure about high livel of sales for a long term before starting this job.

I recommend you to start using the WinForms version in a WindowsFormsHost control. We will be happy to assist you in case of any problems, but I don't think that you'll have much of these. We know several customers that successfully use our component in WPF applications.

Finally, please note that the WPF Edition will be included in the Professional .NET Subscription, so it will be available at no additional cost for those who purchase this subscription today.

Unfortunately, the WindowsFormsHost can not solve our current problem where we would like to embed the AQB into an ActivityDesigner (WF4). The WorkflowDesigner view is native WPF and we can not tap into its design because its first-party (aka: Microsoft). Therefore we have not chance to properly work-around the overlapping issues you inherently have when using WindowsFormsHost.
Currently, I don't know any workaround for that - indead of having the AQB UI in native WPF...
